Set your goals and understand where you want to go and where you need to grow. We’ll help to provide structure and accountability where you need it most. There are many areas to focus on, our main aim will be to support your physiological and psychological growth as a person and an athlete.

PERFORMANCE

It may sound trivial, but results matter. We want to quantify all areas of your performance to ensure your growth is in the right direction. We work with a lot of competitive athletes and as such have detailed competition protocols as well as year-round advice on how to potentially maximise your performance when it matters most.

GRATITUDE

Celebrate your growth and appreciate what you have achieved. Focusing on the process and how it has dictated the outcome. We as AOD coaches not only preach this ethos but practice it ourselves – providing an ever-growing support network of coaches, athletes and health professionals is something we’re extremely passionate about.

MEET THE TEAM

ADAM

Adam began his CrossFit journey whilst studying for his bachelor's degree in Physics with Sports Science at Loughborough University. After falling in love with CrossFit, he set himself the goal of becoming one of the best coaches in the world and he is now among the top 1% of CrossFit trainers, being one of the few who hold the Certified CrossFit Trainer distinction (CrossFit Level 3). His ambition has also led to him travelling around the world to coach and pursue multiple additional qualifications. When he’s not in a competition warmup area or coaching athletes in person and online, you can find him studying tirelessly to hone his craft in order to better serve not only his own but his clients’ goals.

EMILY

Emily has always had a passion for fitness, which escalated when she joined the Weightlifting Club at Loughborough University. She has spent many years competing in both Weightlifting and functional fitness competitions and knows the dedication it takes to push yourself to the next level. With years of experience in Strength and Conditioning a variety of sports, and coaching the sport of Crossfit, she can help you to achieve your goals and strive for your full potential. With multiple qualifications including a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, and UKSCA accreditation she has a great depth of knowledge in programming and the physiology of exercise.

HARRY

Harry discovered Strength & Conditioning and Olympic Weightlifting while studying and playing rugby at Loughborough University. This soon lead to his introduction to CrossFit through his friends and sparked his passion for the sport and its multidisciplinary nature. Harry is obsessed with the efficacy of different methods of training and strives to make his athletes reach their potential and further through intelligently designed programming and movement coaching. Harry's goals include pushing athletes to the highest level of the sport and to be recognised as one of the best athlete coaches in the world.

MIKE

Mike has been coaching and competing in CrossFit, Weightlifting and Gymnastics for over 5 years. Having graduated from Loughborough in Physics and Sports Science with a passion to put his practice into action - AOD was born. Since then, Mike has taken a huge interest in Nutrition Coaching which he now offers to clients of all levels. However, his passion is optimising athletes daily habits and lifestyle while dialling in their nutrition and supplementation to maximise performance. Mike continues to educate himself by staying up to date with the most cutting edge nutrition studies - always excited to see how science can be transferred into real-world sports performance.
